2. Description of Services

Smooth Studios provides professional body waxing and beauty services at our locations in Fayetteville and Rogers, Arkansas. Our services include but are not limited to:

• Brazilian waxing (15-minute service)
• Full body waxing
• Facial waxing
• Specialized waxing services
• Beauty treatments and consultations

3. Appointment Booking and Scheduling

3.1 Booking System

Appointments are scheduled through our third-party booking system, Acuity Scheduling. By using this system, you agree to Acuity's terms of service and privacy policy.

3.2 Appointment Confirmation

All appointments must be confirmed in advance. We reserve the right to cancel unconfirmed appointments.

3.3 Cancellation Policy

• 24-hour notice required: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment
• Late cancellations: Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may result in a cancellation fee
• No-shows: Failure to appear for your appointment may result in a no-show fee and may affect future booking privileges
• Rescheduling: Appointments may be rescheduled subject to availability

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely through Stripe, Inc. We do not store your complete payment card information. By making a payment, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.

4.2 Payment Methods

We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods as available through our payment processor.

4.3 Pricing

All prices are subject to change without notice. Current pricing will be displayed at the time of booking.

4.4 Refunds

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis and are subject to our discretion and the circumstances of the request.

5. Client Responsibilities and Health Considerations

5.1 Health Disclosure

Clients must disclose any relevant health conditions, medications, or skin sensitivities that may affect waxing services. Failure to disclose relevant information may result in service refusal.

5.2 Preparation Requirements

Clients are responsible for following pre-appointment preparation instructions, including:

• Allowing adequate hair growth (minimum 1/4 inch)
• Avoiding sun exposure and certain skincare products
• Arriving with clean skin
• Following any specific pre-care instructions provided

5.3 Age Requirements

Clients under 18 must have parental consent. Clients under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

6. Service Limitations and Contraindications

We reserve the right to refuse service if:

• The client has contraindications for waxing
• The client appears to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol
• The client is disrespectful to staff or other clients
• Health or safety concerns arise
• The client fails to follow preparation instructions

7. Liability and Assumption of Risk

7.1 Assumption of Risk

Clients acknowledge that waxing services carry inherent risks, including but not limited to skin irritation, burns, bruising, or allergic reactions. By receiving services, clients assume these risks.

7.2 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Smooth Studios shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from our services.

7.3 Indemnification

Clients agree to indemnify and hold harmless Smooth Studios from any claims arising from their failure to disclose relevant health information or follow pre- and post-care instructions.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Smooth Studios and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

9. Privacy and Confidentiality

13. Gift Certificates and Promotions

• Gift certificates are non-refundable and have no cash value
• Promotional offers are subject to terms and conditions
• Promotional pricing cannot be combined with other offers unless specified
• Gift certificates and promotions have expiration dates as specified
